I’m Anthony Turner.
I help developers and companies create amazing software.

I currently work as a software engineer for Acuity Brands Lighting in Atlanta, Georgia.

Our team is tasked with creating user-friendly interfaces to the Acuity Brands lighting systems, which are based on Bluetooth technologies. We embrace open-source and closed-source technologies to make this goal a reality, prioritizing ease of use by our integrators and customers.

I received my Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, in Networks & Systems Administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in 2012, with a concentration in Wireless Networks. I’ve worked for Fortune 50 companies as well as multiple software and technology startups. My experience has helped me gain insight into industries as varied as biomedical, defense, security/cryptography, social media, and data analytics.

Outside of work, I enjoy puzzles and video games, drumming, and parenting my two wonderful children.
